Hand-Building Pottery Class

Description

The Hand-Building Pottery class is the perfect introduction to working with clay. Learn the fundamentals of shaping and sculpting using your hands, using the coil method. No experience needed—just bring your creativity, and I will guide you step-by-step to create your very own handmade pieces. We will create a simple form in the 2 hour session, leading with your creativity within a small class (up to a maximum of 4 people). If you ake more than one you can choose your favourite pot to fire in a glaze of your choice and then I will arrange collection or postage. There is an option to purchase more pots that you make at an additional £5 per pot. Aprons are provided however wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on (it will wash out). Please note it may take up to 10 weeks for your pieces to be ready for collection/postage. Ages 13+ (Teens 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult) All pottery classes are based in my Pottery studio near Malpas, Cheshire. *Please note this class is not taught on the pottery wheel, we offer an Introduction to the Pottery Wheel if you would like to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel.
